Setting Up Your Niche Web Site – Getting Started Blueprint – Part 3

Welcome back to the Getting Started Blueprint series of blog posts aimed at getting you started in Internet Marketing for as little outlay as possible!
Getting started is often the hardest part!

Like a lot of people I spent a couple of years reading about Internet Marketing before I finally took action and went live on the net with my first site!
I spent a lot of money on ebooks and courses, and aquired a ton of knowledge … but for a long time I did nothing with what I learned! It was only when I bought Keyword Elite that it all changed, it gave me the information I needed to know where to start …
Deciding on a niche is often the hardest part of getting started. In Part 2 of the Getting Started Blueprint I made that decision easier for you … I showed you how to evaluate the potential profitability of any niche quickly … with or without Keyword Elite!
Today we’ll talk about step 3 of the Getting Started Blueprint, choosing a Domain Name!
The blueprint involves creating an income from multiple niche sites … create one niche site, then create another, then another and so on … 10 sites earning just $2 per day would make you $600 per month! 20 sites earning you $5 per day each would make you $36,000 per annum … not too shabby as a part time income … how hard can it be to earn $5 per day on average from a site?

So back to Step 3 …
After reading Step 1 you hopefully got yourself a Hosting Account if you didn’t have one already … preferably one that allows you to host “Multiple sites” on it … if not, take a look at these two hosting accounts Hostmonster or Hostgator … they’re both cheap and make it really easy for you to add a Wordpress blog on to your domains for FREE … I use Hostmonster …
You can buy a domain name via your hosting account (I believe you get one Free for life when you open your Hostmonster account). Before you buy, you need to decide on your niche, then you need to ensure your domain name includes keywords relating to your niche so that the domain is search engine friendly.
Your host will have a domain name search facility so that you can check to see if your preferred domain name is available. If you find it’s not available, simply try other variants until you find one that’s available.
As I said, try and make your domain name as keyword friendly as possible, plus try and make it catchy so that your visitors remember it easily.
For example, if you choose a niche on say Fly Fishing … you would look for a domain name such as:
flyfishingtips.com or flyfishingsecrets.com flyfishingguide.com
They would be good names for your site … they’re keyword rich and tell your potential visitor that they’ll learn some great information about the subject they’re interested in …
Don’t just choose the first name that you find available, taking a bit of extra time researching could pay dividends … after all, you’re going to be stuck with it for a long time to come, and the name you choose will effectively brand your site!
