How To Get A Google Page One Ranking – And No.1 On Yahoo and MSN!

I was just looking back through some of my blog posts and found the series of Case Study posts I did on my friend’s site, French Holidays Aude. So I took a moment to do a few searches to see just how well his site is ranking now, two months later.
When I started the case study, his site was ranked on page 242 of Google !! That was on the 25th March. Literally 2 weeks later on the 7th April his site was on Page 1 of Google! Nod bad?
Well looking at how he is ranking today I had a pleasant surprise.
Take a look at the screenshot below …
French-Holidays-Aude.com is number 6 on Google, so the SEO tactics I used back in early April are still achieving the desired results … it was not just a one day wonder!
But as well as ranking at No.6 on Google, if you look closer at the screenshot, you’ll see the name of his gite, “Le Moulin De L’Agentouire” in the site ranked No.1 as well! The article that ranks No.7, just below his actual site is also about Le Moulin!
So three of the top seven spots on Google are dedicated to my friends holiday site! Pretty impressive?
But it doesn’t end there …
French-Holidays-Aude.com is also No.1 on Yahoo and No.1 on MSN. Now that’s cool! 
So how did I do it?
Primarily I used two tools …
I cannot overstate the powers of the AU Announcement Blogs enough. Simply by adding a short post to a couple of the high page rank AU Blogs, that included a link back to my friend’s site, with the words “French Holidays Aude” as the anchor text, his site was sent flying up the search engine rankings. 10 – 15 minutes of work made that much difference to his rankings. I took the bulk of my friends text from a couple of his web pages, re-wrote it into a 400 word article, and then submitted it to the directories using the services of SubmitYourArticle.com. Overnight he suddenly had lots of links pointing at is site with keyword rich anchor text. But here’s the big deal … on this occasion as I was in a hurry, I did not add any variations to the article, I just had the one copy of the article submitted to lots of directories and ezines. The links back have obviously had the desired effect. But they would have had even more effect had I added variations.
To get the absolute most out of the service, you need to submit variations to the title, body text and resource boxes. Normally I would spend an extra 30 minutes adding up to 9 additional title variations, several alternative resource boxes with alternate anchor text, and a couple of versions of the body text. This additional 30 minutes means I’m submitting 100’s of “different articles” in one go, rather than 100 copies of the same article … this increases the power of the anchor text back enormously. It also means you have the opportunity to have you article rank highly for different keyword phrases.
If you want to rank well in the search engines for your keyword phrases, these two services are invaluable! They work for me, time and time again! Combine them with the methods used in the Evergreen system I wrote about in my last post and you really have a huge opportunity to make money online from search engine rankings and free traffic.
