Kingspoint Project: Atomic Traffic Case Study Update
Aug 6th, 2008 by admin

It’s just over a week since I signed up to Keith Baxter’s Kingspoint Project Atomic package, to see just how much additional traffic he could drive to one of my sites. To read my first post in this case study series click here
Firstly let’s compare stats at the start of the project with stats at the end of the first week.
Below are the stats for the week BEFORE I signed up to the atomic package:

For the 5 days where I had stats set up (for some reason the host resets them periodically!), the average daily traffic was 23 visitors. Now the screenshot at the top of this post is for last week (the first week of the project) … if we average visitors over Mon - Friday to be consistent, the average daily traffic is … 36!
So in the first week, traffic is up by an average of 60%!
Is it just coincidence? Well I guess we’ll find that out next week when I publish the stats …
So what has Keith and his team been doing this week?
Well I know they’ve done a bunch of keyword research to find keywords that might bring some traffic in, and they’ve outsourced the writing of some content to be posted on a blog network they use. They’ve also made a short video and submitted it to video sites using a submission service called Traffic Geyser …
Indications are that traffic is moving in the right direction … I’m pretty sure it will continue to because a lot of the techniques they’re using or will be using are solid methods that I use or would use if I had the time … that’s what attracted me to the project …
Anyway, I can’t wait to see what the next few weeks traffic stats do …
I really recommend that you take a look at Keith’s site … as a free member you get to see 17 videos he’s put together on traffic methods that he’s moulded into a 7 week system … a step by step approach that he discloses to everyone including free members. To take a look at the 17 videos and the Atomic package, take a look at the Kingspoint Project.

Well this looks interesting but I’m rather sceptical about this one. The service could be sold sensibly but looks a bit overhyped to me …. and 60% on small figures is not exactly hard - one guy in an internet cafe could have got you 200% in ten minutes
But it will be interesting to watch your results thanks!

Thanks for pointing the broken link out Neil …
60% is a small increase in terms of real visitors, but in reality I’m not expecting to see any large increases until weeks 3 or 4 … yes anyone could drive a short term wave of traffic I agree, but I’m interested in this project because it should drive sustainble increases in traffic … and even with just adsense income, I don’t need the traffic to be much higher to pay for the atomic package investment … I’ve been a member of one of Keith’s other sites for a while, and he is a genuine guy … and I think the methods he’s using will bring results … it will be interesting over the next few weeks … if it doesn’t work I won’t lose much, if it does, then applying it to multople sites could soon pull in a decent recurring income … with very little effort on my part!
I hope it works too - there’s definitely a lot of potential if it does !

Any earnings over the cost is pure profit for no real effort - if it does !
