How Losers Become Winners According To Three Wise Men!
May 15th, 2008 by admin
Today’s post is all about becoming a winner in life … and it’s focussed on the words of three wise men, a basketball player, a writer and a painter!
So what can we learn from a basketball player, a writer and an impressionist artist?
Well these three all have something in common … they’re all winners in life!
Here are three quotes from them that will help you understand what it takes to go from being a loser to a becoming a winner in life like these guys …

Let’s start with the basketball player, Michael Jordan:
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
Just imagine if Michael had given up after he’d missed the basket with his first shot, or first few shots … what would he be doing now? But he didn’t give up, he practised and focused so that over time he scored a lot more shots than he missed …
You can easily draw a parallel with this analogy and your life as an Internet Marketer … simply put, you’re first few web sites will likely make you little money, but the more you learn, the more sites you build the better they’ll become, and over time your earnings will grow … but you must have the focus to continue despite the failures just like Michael Jordan … learn from your mistakes and move on!

The theory above is added to by this next quote from the famous post impressionist artist, Vincent Van Gogh:
“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together”
This is really true and is at the heart of why most would be internet marketers fail … most newcomers read a few sales pages that display screenshots of huge earnings, and think that by simply reading a couple of ebooks they’ll earn the same … when the reality hits them a few weeks later they give up!
Van Gogh is right, most great things are achieved as a result of lots of smaller things brought together. In Michael Jordan’s case it was the culmulative effect of all his training sessions, and all of the individual baskets he got that brought him success and greatness … in Van Gogh’s case, it was the culmulative effect of all the individual brush strokes that created each masterpiece …
For Internet Marketers it’s the culmulative effect of building lots of web pages and individual sites that will result in success, each page you build, each article your write will take you along the path to riches … how well you write and how quickly you produce sites and pages will determine how quickly you get there … !
Finally for our third quote … by Richard Bach, the writer of the bestselling adventures of Jonathon Seagull …
He said … “In order to win, you must expect to win!” …
To be a winner you must believe you’re a winner. If you really believe you’re going to succeed you will! If you don’t have that inner belief you will at some stage fail and give up … you must develop an inner belief that will help you overcome failures and keep you focused on achieving success … you must believe in the law of attraction …
Believe in yourself and your plan, and in 12 months from now you’ll be a winner, instead of a wannabe, otherwise known as a loser…
Start planning your route to your goals today and follow the advice above … this time next year your life will be different …
