Lets get one thing clear from the beginning … Article Marketing is all about “quantity”! The more articles you distribute the more successful you will be at building long term traffic sources and higher search engine rankings.
At the end of the day, a reasonable proportion of the articles you write won’t rank very well and won’t actually appear in front of many eyeballs. But by writing more articles your chances of getting some to rank well or get a lot of page views is increased, and when one does hit the target, it will make you money for a long time to come.
Writing the odd article is really unlikely to bring you any success. You need to keep a constant stream of new articles flowing. Even if they don’t see many eyeballs, they build links that over time will push all of your sites up the rankings.
Article marketing is a long term strategy that has two main purposes. Firstly every time one of your articles is published on another site, it provides one new route for someone to find your site. If you can get every article to appear on hundreds or thousands of sites, the chances of people stumbling across your site increases dramatically.
Secondly, the more links you have pointing to your sites, the better they will rank in the main search engines, which means you will receive a lot more free traffic over time as well.
Finally here is an important point to take in. Don’t just submit your articles to Article Directories, that is a total missed opportunity. As you will see below, you can use each article to build a variety of link types back to your sites. By building a variety of links, they will appear more natural to the search engines and as a result, you will achieve even better rankings.
