If you read this blog regularly you’ll know I’m a big fan of SubmitYourArticle.com .

Well I’m now an even bigger fan! Their new Article Trickle feature is awesome. Not only can you now submit 100’s of unique articles to hundreds of directories and ezines, but you can set them to be submitted over a specified period of time rather than all on the same day!

Now think about this … you’ve just published a new niche site and you want to get it indexed quickly and get some visitors to it whilst you wait for it to appear in the Search Engine rankings. Thanks to SubmitYourArticle you can now, with just one base article, get hundreds of links, with different anchor text pointing to different pages on the site in minutes, or you can “trickle” the links to your pages over days, weeks or months, giving that natural feel to your linking pattern that the search engines like to see to new sites … It really is a must if you’re into niche marketing!

Anchor text variation is important because the search engines such as Google like to see natural linking patterns. When natural linking occurs, anchor text links appear as many different phrases. This is what you need to replicate as closely as possible.

Submit Your Article.com provides a service called “Article Leverage”, it’s a standard feature of your membership. What Article Leverage does is allow you to distribute multiple versions of your original article in just a few minutes. Your “multiple versions” can include lots of different anchor text links, which is just what we’re looking for!

Let me explain a little more how it works …

First, you write an article of around 400 – 600 words, with a bio box as well.
Next you copy and paste it into the SubmitYourArticle template.
Then you turn on Article Leverage.

Article Leverage first of all asks you for at least two variants of your article title. It then asks you for at least one variant of each paragraph of your article. Finally it asks you for at least 2 further variants of your bio box.

You can add more variants of each element, those quoted above are the minimum numbers. I always add at least 10 keyword rich Title variants, at least 3 variants of the opening paragraph and then at least one variant of the remaining paragraphs (keep your paragraphs short for the best results).

Adding all those variants doesn’t actually take long. What it achieves is a really high level of uniqueness to each article version spun by article leverage. Your original article literally becomes hundreds of unique articles! Now content spinners are not new, but the beauty of this one is that it actually submits the different versions to different article directories and ezines, so there is literally no duplicate content to worry about. Do this process just 8 times each month and you’ll distribute hundreds of unique articles all over the web!

Going back to anchor text patterns, I always try and add 10 “bio box” versions to the article as well. Your article “bio” includes a link back to your site. So by creating 10 or more variants, I can use different anchor text in each one, pointing back to different pages on my site. Or I can use the same anchor text twice say for my main keyword phrase, just changing the remaining text in the bio box.

Literally with a click of a button I can create hundreds of backlinks all with different anchor text. Plus I can burn my SubmitYourArticle RSS feed and distribute it to all the RSS feed directories, multiplying the number of inbound links even further.

The Article Leverage feature is awsome, especially now that you can combine it’s power with their new Article Trickle feature …

If you read my blog regularly you’ll know that I’m a big advocate of article marketing for two reasons. Firstly, article marketing provides your web sites with lots of backlinks to help your search engine rankings, and as your articles are republished, your links will move beyond just article directories. Secondly, links equal traffic. The more links you have leading to your web pages, the more likely it is that people will discover your pages. Articles equal links, and links equal traffic and rankings, and rankings equal traffic as well!

Previously I’ve talked a lot about SubmitYourArticle.com. I love this service because it takes care of the distribution task automatically, but in particular I love the way the service distributes unique variants of your articles to each of the article directories. This “uniqueness” gives your articles great chances of ranking for a number of keywords from the same content … it really is an excellent service.

In the last couple of months I’ve also been using a second service, ArticleMarketer.com. Again I’ve been very impressed with their service. It’s quick and easy to add articles and they get massive distribution. Just take a look at the screenshot above. Look how many links Yahoo has recorded for my “single” article!

Write a few articles and distribute using Article Marketer could easily bring you hundreds of thousands of inbound links. Regardless of what those links do for your rankings, you’ve literally created a hundred thousand paths for people to find your site for years to some!

I will definitely continue using both services in tandem as they bring different benefits … AM offers mass distribution and SYA offers a much better chance of getting different article variations ranking well for different keywords.

Both sites are great examples of paid automation!

A couple of weeks ago I bought a three hour audio by a lady called Tinu Abayomi-Paul, all about generating free web traffic. The audio is called the “Evergreen Traffic System”, evergreen because once you implement the system the traffic just keeps coming and coming long after you stop using the system …

Recently I promised myself that I’d stop buying info products on Internet Marketing and instead, I’d concentrate on implementing my own strategies.

So why did I change my mind and buy Tinu’s “Evergreen” system?

I guess because it was “different” to the normal get rich quick stuff that gets promoted every other day. It didn’t claim to work overnight, it didn’t claim to make you rich instantly. I found the sales page particularly interesting because it sounded as though a lot of the strategies were very similar to the ones I’m using and advocating to others … the only difference was that Tinu appeared to be getting bigger and better results … quicker!

I think what sold it to me, was the apparent closeness to my own strategies … the methods used in my own “Massive Traffic” ebook …

So I spent the money and downloaded the audios … unfortunately because I was then due to be away for a week, I just didn’t get the time to listen to them. But this weekend I did … and I have to say I was glued to them …

Is the “Evergreen” system similar to my own strategy? Yes it is … very similar!

Tinu’s Evergreen system focuses on building free traffic using the following methods:

- Article Marketing
- Careful Keyword Research & Planning
- Blogging

If you’ve read my blog posts and ebooks, you’ll know that I heavily use all three of the methods above to drive traffic.

So how does Tinu’s system vary to my own? Well without spilling too many of Tinu’s secrets, her methods broadly differ as follows:

She uses “sexy” article marketing in similar ways to me, for example she uses the services of SubmitYourArticle.com. She puts a lot of emphasis on keyword phrase selection for the article titles. Unlike me she uses a “3 Tier” Article Marketing system that generates her thousands of inbound links in a short space of time. Each of the three tiers has a different focus; one tier is focused on generating thousands of links whilst another is more focused on generated very targeted traffic … each of the three tiers uses different submission methods for the articles, and different “quality” articles.

Tinu’s keyword strategy is very similar to mine. Go for the low hanging fruit first (the long tail keywords) and then go for the fruit on the next branch of the tree once you’ve picked all the low hanging keywords. She does n’t mention Keyword Elite, but she should, because it was designed to automate her whole process and is a perfect tool for her system.

Blogging once or even twice a day for the first 4 – 6 weeks of your new blog is key to Tinu’s strategy, as I too advocate you try and do. Tinu blogs around her keyword research, her keyword research drives the titles of her blog posts … this is exactly what I try and do on my own “niche” blogs … not so much on this one as this a real labour of love, but on my blogs where I don’t have a specific knowledge or interest, I do exactly what Tinu suggests.

But Tinu goes much further than I “currently” do with her blogging strategy … a lot of her success comes from her use of RSS feeds and blog commenting … here she excels … and I will immediately be implementing her advanced strategies …

So in summary I’m really pleased I bought Tinu’s Evergreen system, her audios are excellent and full of valuable tips and strategies.

I’m delighted she confirms the validity of my strategies as well!

I highly recommend you get hold of Tinu’s audios. If you’re trying to drive traffic using any of the methods above, you’ll find it incredibly educational. It’s not the usual hype, it’s quality information on simple strategies you can implement to boost your traffic … the stats on her sales page prove she knows what she’s talking about …

And it’s not just about getting 100 visitors a day in just 30 days, apply the Evergreen strategies for longer and your traffic will grow accordingly to significant volumes over a few months.

I know applying just a few of her tips to my own strategy will boost my blog traffic quickly … and they’re a great fit with what I’m already doing!

So take a look at Tinu’s Evergreen System for yourself … I think you’ll be very pleasantly surprised by what you learn!

And so to getting traffic … Free Traffic!

Where can you get free traffic from to your new blog? Here are just a few places …

- The Search Engines … Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc …
- Your RSS Feeds …
- Article Marketing …
- Blog Comments …
- Social Sites …

To start getting traffic, you need to blog every day, even twice a day if you have enough content. A good way to put a blogging plan together is to build a keyword list of say 100 keywords in your niche, and then aim to post about one or two of them every day.

I use Keyword Elite to produce my keyword lists. It gives me more than just a keyword list. It returns hundreds or thousands of keyword phrases related to any niche, and for each keyword phrase it tells me how many searches each one gets a month, and how many web pages are competing for it. So I can choose keywords that are not to competitive that will bring me some traffic … not a ton of traffic, but some traffic … there is no point chasing high traffic keywords that you’ll never rank for! If you’re going to produce 100 posts, each one doesn’t need to pull in many visitors for you to soon have several thousand visitors per month …

Part 6 of this course showed you how to find and generate content for your posts … what I would advocate is that you post around specific keywords like we’ve just discussed.

Regular posting on specific keyword phrases will get you search engine traffic over a few weeks from the search engines …

Wordpress produces an RSS Feed that you can submit to RSS Directories … your feed address will be: http://yourblogname.com/feed … what I suggest is that you go to a site called Feedburner.com and burn your feed there. Burning is easy, they give you a step by step guide on doing it, all you need to know is your feed address … once you’ve burnt it, your feed will appear in their feed directory, and everytime you post to your blog, they will notify a bunch of directories that you’ve posted automatically!

I also suggest you get a copy of RSS Submit. RSS Submit is software that will submit your RSS Feed to 70+ directories in seconds … it’s cheap and so easy to use!

Submit to social sites … to be successful at pulling in social site traffic, I really recommend you read Dean’s report above … his tips will make your articles more popular on the social sites such as Stumbleupon or Digg … use Social Marker to submit your “best” posts to the social sites and directories …

Finally, find high traffic blogs in your niche using Google, and simply go and comment on their posts … the link from your comment to your site will bring you traffic … try and leave 10 - 20 comments on other peoples blogs each week … they don’t need to be long comments, just relevant … these comments are quick and easy to do and will bring you traffic …!

All these methods will bring you traffic pretty quickly …

- choose your keywords carefully for your post titles

- comment on other people’s blogs in your niche …

These basic methods will work, and will work well!

In the previous post, I showed you that a niche targeted article with great rankings can bring you a lot of traffic ….

Over 4,000 Page Views for one niche article … so was it a one off or can you regularly achieve Google Page One rankings with Articles?

Here are some more examples of my articles ranking well …

In the screenshot above you can see I’ve got both the number one and number two slots covered on Google with two separate articles, ranking 1 & 2 out of 33 million pages for the search term “need money quickly” … not bad!

Both those ads were posted on EzineArticles.com. The next screenshot shows two of my articles on page one of Google for my favourite software … “keyword elite”. You’ll note that one appears on EzineArticles again, but the other is on USFreeAds.com which is another site I highly recommend you post your articles on.

In the next screenshot you’ll see I’m number 1 in Google for “wordpress blog traffic”, this time the article is posted on Squidoo.com.

Article marketing is touted by many internet marketing gurus as a great way to pull targeted traffic into your web pages … are they right?

Well my experience says yes and no. Outside of the internet marketing niche I would categorically say yes it works well, but within the online marketing niche I’ve had limited success with article marketing.

Take a look at the screenshot above … the article on EzineArticles.com occupying the number one spot in Google for the term “how to become incorporated” is MINE!

That’s right … my article has beaten 32.1 million other sites to Number 1! If that doesn’t impress you then how about this … it’s been Number One for 15 months!!

Not only that, it’s also No.1 on Yahoo and No.4 on MSN too!

So how much traffic does an article like this, in a very specific niche get when it receives a top ranking?

Quite a lot actually … 4,165 page views in 15 months!

Obviously not everyone who reads the article will click through to your site, but let me tell you … this one article has earn’t me quite a bit of Adsense revenue!

One of the reasons I targeted the keyword phrase “how to become incorporated” is that I knew from my keyword research that each Adsense click would earn me between 50 cents and $2 per click!

So you can quickly see that this one article has done very nicely for me! Very nicely indeed. All I need to do is replicate this example over and over again and watch the adsense and affiliate income role in!

So article marketing works … in the right niches it works really, really well!

Undoubtedly keyword research is the key to success with article marketing. Using Keyword Elite, I found a keyword phrase that I could rank well for, that would get traffic and at the same time would pay very well for Adsense clicks!

This one article that resulted directly from my Keyword Elite research has paid for the software multiple times over!

There are a number of reasons why this article has done so well for me. I’ll talk about them in a couple of days … but one question you should be asking yourself is “why has the article ranked so well for SO LONG?”

Yesterday I told you how I’ve been busy writing articles over the last few days ready to publish, and “hopefully” generate some targeted traffic with. I mentioned that I’d been looking at a report by Jack Humphries and stumbled across a recommended web site in it called SubmitYOURArticle.com.

Writing articles isn’t a problem, I can write and type 400 – 600 word articles pretty quickly once I focus. Creating different versions from the original isn’t a problem either, I’ve got a spreadsheet that I use to slice and dice multiple versions from two to three copies of the original. The problem is the time it takes to submit the different copies to all the directories.

I’d started searching for article submission software to take my different versions and submit them to different sites to no real avail. Then I read Jack’s report on the off chance whilst looking for something else, and low and behold I found the answer in his report.

SubmitYOURArticle.com submits your articles for you to lots of directories or ezines, but their service has a difference. They help you create multiple versions of the article and then submit the different versions to different directories. Not only that but they check your article to ensure it has the best possible chance of being picked up and circulated! Exactly what I was looking for and found thanks to a chance reading of Jack’s report.

But was it chance?

Or the law of attraction in effect? Did my thoughts and needs for their service attract me to jack’s report? I really believe there is definitely something in the theory. I genuinely believe that you attract what you want or expect.

But it didn’t just end with Jack’s report!

Last night I put on a Trafficology CD in my car to listen to on the way home. It was an interview by Dearl Miller and Willie Crawford, discussing Willie’s favourite free traffic methods. I’ve had the CD a while, but haven’t had a chance to listen to it.

Well guess what … I could n’t believe my ears! The first method discussed was Article Marketing, and when Willie was asked how he distributes his articles, he said I use … SubmitYOURArticle.com … incredible!

Now that’s spooky! Having never heard of the site before, I’m suddenly bombarded by gurus telling me how great the site is … at the very time I’ve been looking for some one to provide the very service they do … the law of attraction definitely in force!

As soon as I heard Willie mention the site I was stunned. I stopped listening to the interview as subconsciously I started to think about these coincidences and the powers of positive thinking, in fact I spent most of the evening thinking about it.

When I finally got the kids to bed and had finished installing my new wireless router (nothing is straight forward), I sat down with a glass of wine and the remote control and flicked the tv on … to be spooked again by the programme that appeared on the screen … I spent the next 40 minutes watching a documentary about the “positive thinking” and “self help” industry! Unbelievable, they featured at least 4 of the books I own …

Today I’m trying to think and visualise none stop about 100,000 visitors swarming to my site tonight and signing up to my list!

Now I’ve finished my new report List Building Riches , I’m starting to turn my attention back to generating traffic (no point in having a report that no one reads ).

I’m going to ensure that I post virtually daily to this blog, as well as to some satellite blogs that I’ve got access to, plus I’m going to submit quite a few articles to directories over the next few days. I’ve written several for submission already.

Now in an earlier post I talked about the “law of attraction”. Well here is that law in action. I’ve been looking at ways of respinning the articles I’ve written to ensure they have a better chance of ranking (ie: respinning avoids any duplicate content penalties) … I’ve developed my own spreadsheet for the purpose of doing this, but its not ideal and every copy of the original has to be manually submitted … then today I found a report by Jack Humphries that recommended a site called submitYOURarticle so I took a look. I’ve read a lot of stuff that Jack Humphries has written and it’s all excellent, the guy genuinely knows a lot about pulling traffic to a site. When he recommends I always take a look.

And yet again Jack Humphries delivers! Within just a few minutes I subscribed to Submityourarticle.com. Their service automates the submission of yoru article to the top directories and to a lot of ezines, but what makes this service special is that it delivers “different” versions to each directory!

It takes about 20 minutes to submit your article, that includes the time it takes to create the new versions of the article. I’ve already submitted a couple of articles using the service. The only downside I can see is that you can only submit 8 articles per month per account! But I guess with this service those 8 articles become hundreds of unique articles, and thus links back to my site … so its a small negative …

I highly recommend you take a look yourself at submityourarticle.com, their service makes creating lots of inbound unique one way links easy!

It’s exactly what I was looking for … there is definitely something in the law of attraction, its really spooky that I read that report today of all days !
