So I made a couple of changes to the page and the Adwords Ad itself and resubmitted it. Within a couple of days I had a new email stating that my page was still invalid and if I tried running the campaign again my Adwords account would be terminated and that should I open a new account I would be in trouble! Charming!

I replied again begging for more guidance to which I got a reply … it stated that my page didn’t comply with their terms and conditions … how frustrating!

The sooner someone comes along and destroys their dominance the better … would it actually harm them to offer a more precise reason for the non conformance … they obviously know what is wrong so why not share it with me!

Now what has really bugged me is that they have dropped my page out of their rankings! It was hovering just off page 1 of the serps. But since the Adwords problem it has disappeared without a trace!

So last night I bought a new domain, www.keywordelitemasterplan.com and published a new sales page … I’ve set a new Adwords campaign going so we’ll see if they like it or not … if anyone can spot what they don’t like on my original page, Keyword Elite, please let me know … maybe I’m been stupid, but I can’t see what they don’t like!

In my last post, I mentioned that one of the services I use is Article Marketer.

One of my readers, Neil, left a comment saying that the service he’d received from them was less than great should we say, and that he’d read bad reviews. All I can say is that so far I’ve had no problems, all my articles have been distributed in a timely manner and I’ve had no technical problems … I do use the paid service though and not the free one.

I’ve taken some sample screenshots of the kind of backlinks you can expect from an article … take a look at these … they’re all articles I’ve written and distributed using this service …

In this screenshot you can see Yahoo has over 1400 results for the title of my article … if you go and search yourself you’ll see my name as the author!

So basically, in my experience the service does what it says on the tin … it automates the distribution of articles to hundreds, if not thousands of directories and ezines … with minimal effort on your part … obviously others have had problems, but personally I only have positives to report …

Ok, as I reported in my last post Keith Baxter has pulled the Atomic Project and I’m waiting to see the replacement … which he promises will bring better results … as I said in my last post, I still recommend you take a look at his site, the Kingspoint Project, it’s full of some top info that you don’t see elsewhere… even as a free member the info on offer is excellent!

So I’ve decided to use some of the tools I’ve discovered (some from Keith’s site) to see if I can move my ranking for the keyword he targetted. As of the start of the week my site was ranked 194th in Google for the term small business incorporation.

So this week I have submitted one article using the services of Article Marketer, and one article using the article leverage service of Submit Your Article. (the article leverage service allows you to distribute a separate version of your article to each directory and ezine, it’s pretty cool).

I’ve also outsourced the writing of 25 blog posts, that will each appear on separate blogs giving me 25 keyword targeted one way links back to my site. I’ve also started bookmarking my site with a social bookmarking service I subscribe to.

Tomorrow I will issue a press release and make a couple of blog posts on a couple of other decent page rank blogs that I have access to … and then we’ll see what happens over the next couple of weeks as the articles and blog posts go live …

Next week I may add some additional content / pages to the Incorporation site based on some keyword research using Keyword Elite, to attract some more traffic to the site.

Apparently it hasn’t achieved the results they expected it to, so it has been shelved and will be replaced any day by a new improved package … I just hope that previous Atomic customers will get a FREE trial of the new product!

According to Keith only the Nuclear package has delivered the kind of results they’d hoped for, so that package will remain on sale …

I still recommend you join the Kingspoint Project, even as just a free member, the content of the site is good and pretty unique …

As a result of being a member, I’ve discovered a load of new tools and methods I knew nothing about before … so its not been all bad … and the Atomic package did increase my traffic a bit to at least cover the costs of the package …

So what now?

Well like I say, I hope I’ll get a free trial of the new package … BUT also I want to see if I can use what I’ve learnt, and some of the new tools, to actually increase the traffic my business incorporation site gets and see if I can get it ranking well for the term “Small Business Incorporation”, the term that the Atomic Package targeted without much success … see the screenshot below …

As of today, the site ranks at a lowly 194 for ’small business incorporation’ … so lets see over the next few weeks what I can do to improve on that!!

Next, here is where my traffic for the site is at, remember at the start of the Case Study, I averaged 20 - 25 visitors per day …

As you can see it now averages 35 - 40 daily visitors, so again lets see what improvements I can make …

So … Internet Web Marketing – Can It really Make You Rich?

Whenever I tell someone I’m interested in internet web marketing, they usually ask me two questions…

Firstly, “what is internet marketing?” and then once I’ve explained what it’s about they ask “can it really make you rich?”

So how do I answer the second question?

I answer yes it can, but don’t expect to become rich overnight and don’t think you can do it without spending any money or without a lot of hard work!

In the words of American poet Maya Angelou … “All great achievements require time!”

It takes time to build sites, get them indexed, grow your traffic and build lists. The only way you can avoid the hard work involved is to pay someone else to do it. So I’m a big advocate of outsourcing routine tasks so that you can achieve more quicker!

I also believe it’s easier for most people to make a little money from a lot of sites than it is to make a lot of money from one site. I would certainly advise anyone to build multiple sites rather than to concentrate all their efforts in to one site. For example getting 30 to 100 visitors per day to a site is a whole lot easier than getting 300 to 1,000, so simply build 10 sites and apply the same traffic strategies to each of them.

I would also advise people to not get too hung up on the quality of their content, worrying about quality slows the process … worry about quantity instead! As Mike Leibner says, “words = money”, so concentrate on getting lots of pages published first and foremost … and then get links to them … every page and every link is another way for someone to find your sites.

Where you can, pay someone to write your content and employ link building services … you have to be prepared to invest if you want to make serious money rather than pocket money.

So yes you can make it rich online with internet web marketing, but you need to have a plan and execute it quickly.

Give yourself a target and then break it down into achievable blocks and smaller targets with defined timescales for achievement. For example if you want to achieve $10,000 per month, you need to be earning around $300 per day. How are you going to do it? Affiliate sales or Adsense income? If you had 10 sites promoting affiliate products that converted one in a hundred visitors, and your commission on an average sale was $30, you could make your target with just 100 visitors per day to each of the 10 sites … that doesn’t sound too hard does it?

The important thing is to have a plan that is broken down into achievable blocks and to stick to it …. And then invest some cash to achieve it … that’s exactly what I’m doing now, I didn’t use to though, I did what everyone else does when they start, I concentrated on one site and did everything myself … this approach will very rarely make you rich!

And the most important thing of all … again in the words of Maya Angelou … “Nothing will work unless you do.” Stop reading ebooks and start “doing”. Set a plan, get the right tools, outsource as much as possible and keep it simple! Repeat, repeat and repeat again.

Well from my most recent posts you’ll know I’ve become a big fan of automation and paying others to leverage their services. So here is another service I’ve come across that I will be giving a go to … I would recommend it for sites that have been around for 6 months or more …

The service is called Viper Linking.

Viper Linking provides you with a quick and simple way to generate a ton of one-way links to your site that Google and Yahoo will love, to quickly boost your search engine rankings.

To be honest, I don’t think there has been any further work done by Keith’s team, and I need to follow up with them to find out whats going on … BUT … I do know that Keith Baxter lives in Houston and has been affected by the recent hurricane, in as much as he has been without power etc etc … and I know that some of his Kingspoint team are in the same boat … so even if they have power now they’re going to be well off schedule with their workload …

Traffic during the working week has remained between 30 - 50 visitors per day … if I remember rightly it was around an average of 25 per day when I started the project …

Interestingly Yahoo has over 200 inbound links recorded to the domain (some existed before the project but I don’t know how many, I should have recorded it! :roll:)

I think most disappointing to date is that Keith has failed to get my site anywhere near the top of the search engines for his targeted keyword phrase “small business incorporation”, in fact it has gone backwards since i last posted!

In summary, my traffic is still up from the start of the project and shows no sign of dipping … I’m getting around 400 more visitors per month at the moment … BUT I don’t think I’ve seen any activity in the last few weeks, so effectively one month of the Atomic Package has given me this increase in traffic. I need to contact Keith to see what the status is … its not been a waste of money by any stretch of the imagination, and with another month’s activity I would expect a further step up in traffic … and it should be remembered that I have not added additional content or done any seo on the site since the project started!

NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT!

On top of the traffic packages, Keith gives a ton of advice to members of the Kinspoint Project, advice and tips I’ve certainly not come across elsewhere … and his advice is responsible for me spending thousands of dollars last week on new software and automation services!

I’m confident that joining the Kingspoint Project has changed the way I’ll market online forever, and it will take me a lot closer to my goals!

I’m also very sure that I could get my site ranked on Page 1 of Google for “Small Business Incorporation” pretty quickly and build my traffic a lot with the knowledge I’ve gotten from Keith, and in particular by using the tools I now have at my disposal. And once I officially stop using the Atomic Package, I will continue the case study to see what I can achieve!

I would still advise anyone to join the Kingspoint Project if you’re serious about making money online … and I’m still hopeful that the Atomic Package will bring me more traffic whilst I focus on making money elsewhere from my new tools!

If you read my blog regularly you’ll know that I’m a big advocate of article marketing for two reasons. Firstly, article marketing provides your web sites with lots of backlinks to help your search engine rankings, and as your articles are republished, your links will move beyond just article directories. Secondly, links equal traffic. The more links you have leading to your web pages, the more likely it is that people will discover your pages. Articles equal links, and links equal traffic and rankings, and rankings equal traffic as well!

Previously I’ve talked a lot about SubmitYourArticle.com. I love this service because it takes care of the distribution task automatically, but in particular I love the way the service distributes unique variants of your articles to each of the article directories. This “uniqueness” gives your articles great chances of ranking for a number of keywords from the same content … it really is an excellent service.

In the last couple of months I’ve also been using a second service, ArticleMarketer.com. Again I’ve been very impressed with their service. It’s quick and easy to add articles and they get massive distribution. Just take a look at the screenshot above. Look how many links Yahoo has recorded for my “single” article!

Write a few articles and distribute using Article Marketer could easily bring you hundreds of thousands of inbound links. Regardless of what those links do for your rankings, you’ve literally created a hundred thousand paths for people to find your site for years to some!

I will definitely continue using both services in tandem as they bring different benefits … AM offers mass distribution and SYA offers a much better chance of getting different article variations ranking well for different keywords.

Both sites are great examples of paid automation!
